Garden Planning
We encourage anyone interested in a planting design to reach out to us via email. We’ll set up a call to discuss your project in more detail and determine if we’re a good fit.
For those ready to commission a full planting design, the process typically begins with an in-person preliminary consultation to walk the property, discuss goals, and assess the scope of work. At that point, we’ll put together a design proposal for your review and feedback. This document outlines the anticipated scope and deliverables, identifies collaborators or consultants who may contribute to the design, notes additional professional services as needed, and includes proposed fees and a draft schedule.
Read more about our Design Process here.
Note: Once the design proposal is finalized, clients are asked to sign a Planting Design Services Agreement and submit a retainer to initiate Phase One of the Design Process.

Implementation
With your planting plan finalized and approved, we're available to assist with plant procurement, advise on site preparation, and connect clients with landscape installers and other contractors.
We’ll oversee the planting, and assist in resolving any planting issues that may come up. We’ll also offer guidance on long-term care of the garden, and are available for periodic site visits to assess garden health and maintenance.

On-Site Consultations
For clients in the Pacific Northwest looking for general guidance with their landscapes, our On-Site Consultations are an excellent option.
We will meet you on site for a two-hour focused consultation, sharing observations about your landscape, ideas regarding layout and spatial composition, atmosphere, and design direction for possible plantings. We’ll be there to offer advice about transforming your landscape, and answer any questions regarding the process.
The session is conversational and idea-driven and does not include formal drawings or deliverables, though clients are encouraged to take notes for future reference. Learn more about our On-Site Consultations here.
